Cindy Reamsma, founder of Pampered Pals Pet Sitting and Dog Walking, was born in Kentwood and currently lives in Caledonia area.
The idea to open Pampered Pals Pet Sitting came to Cindy when she adopted her Yorkshire Terrier – Lillie. She contemplated her own dilemma of finding an alternative to kenneling her pets while on vacation. When Cindy and Lillie joined West Michigan Therapy Dogs, she realized the real need for Pet Sitting. When she talked with other members we all had the same problem. What to do with our babies when we go on vacation or business. These are very special and intelligent dogs and to Kennel them was like putting them in jail. Hence Pampered Pals Pet Sitting and Dog Walking was created in August of 2003.
Cindy has cared for a variety of dogs including many therapy dogs. She and her dog Lillie (Yorkshire Terrier) have been members of West Michigan Therapy Dogs since June 2003. Cindy and Lillie have monthly visitation at The Veterans Home, and Hope Network.
